At Coffee:30, we serve more than gourmet coffee and beignets — we deliver an experience worth making time for.  As a lifestyle brand rooted in Southern hospitality and bold Louisiana flavor, we bring people together through two distinct models: our full-service Coffee:30 Café, offering breakfast, brunch, and lunch with a creative twist on Southern Cuisine and Coffee Cocktails; and our fast, convenient Coffee:30 Express drive-thru locations, serving our signature coffee and beignets in exciting, reimagined ways.

Coffee:30 was built to be a platform for serving God, family, and community — a place where purpose meets passion, and where every cup and every connection reflect the values we hold dear. Whether it's time to unwind with our curated coffee and cocktail menu or time to gather with friends and family, Coffee:30 is the place where community, culture, and connection meet — one cup, one plate, one moment in time.

OUR STORY
THE CONCEPT: GOURMET COFFEE & BEIGNETS

In the heart of Lake Charles, Louisiana, two husband-and-wife duos (Josh & Taylor Smith, Trent & Hilary Robertson) set out to create a beignet that truly captured the flavor of New Orleans — and coffee that felt like home. They dreamed of a place where Southern flavor met gourmet flair, without trading quality for convenience.

That vision became Coffee:30 Express, a drive-thru destination serving authentic Louisiana-style beignets and small-batch roasted coffee crafted with care. The first location opened in November 2022 in Lake Charles.

Soon after, their Coffee:30 Café model brought the full experience to life — serving breakfast, brunch, and lunch favorites like Chicken & Waffles, Crabcake Breakfast Bowls, and their signature Chicken Lake Charles. Guests can also enjoy Mimosa Towers, bold Bloody Marys, and handcrafted Coffee Cocktails that celebrate Louisiana’s brunch culture. The first Café opened in August 2021.

The name Coffee:30 came from Taylor’s 30th birthday (May 27, 2019) when she joked, “If it’s Beer:30, why can’t it be Coffee:30?” The clock logo reads 5:27 in her honor. In July 2023, the Smiths partnered with Trent and Hillary Robertson to launch a franchise built on faith, family, and flavor — because no matter what time it is, it’s Coffee Time.
